St. James Cathedral


I attended mass here with my family quite often when I was young. It's been well over 10 years since I was last here. As I stood on the front steps today, a small part of my childhood came back to me. Yet at the same time, I couldn't believe how unfamiliar it felt.

I've always admired Gothic cathedral architecture. St. James Cathedral is the seat of the archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle. It's construction began in 1905.

  • This photo shows a lot of solidarity, it is so sharp i could cut myself. Are those cherry blossoms suppose to be that color or did you lighten them up?

  • I have to comment again, because i saw you changed the photo, I think the more washed out blossoms looks better because with the colors its has a feel of artificiality now, the the flowers kinda look superimposed into the photo.
