So I've been in Vegas for a few weeks now on an internship, living with my uncle. On some days here it gets as hot as 120F. Most people never experience that kind of heat. But to my surprise, Vegas is more than temperature and poker. The other day he took me hiking, and the view was amazing. There were trees as far as I could see, and the weather at that elevation was only in the 80s with a cool breeze. It reminded me of Seattle. I never would have known this side of Vegas, and I'm glad I do.
