The Bon Festival

is a 500 year old Japanese Buddhist tradition that honors deceased ancestors. The actual dance itself pictured here is called the Bon Odori.

This the last of the Bon Odori photos I took this past weekend. Samurai Eating Ice Cream and The Red Lantern are the other two.
